Privacy Policy

What we read from Gmail

Inbox Radar scans your Gmail inbox to find messages that contain actionable items — events, deadlines, tasks, or anything with a date attached. We only read enough to identify these items. We do not send, reply to, forward, or delete email on your behalf, and we never read email for any purpose other than finding actionable items for you.

What we do with Google Calendar

We create and maintain a separate calendar called Inbox Radar inside your Google Calendar account. This is the only calendar we write to. Your existing calendars, events, and appointments are never modified, deleted, or read. We use the calendar to mirror the actionable items we found so you can see them alongside your normal schedule.

What we store

For each item we find, we store: a short AI-written snippet explaining why it matters; a deep link back to the original Gmail message or thread; and the item's own details (title, date/time, location, meeting link, and category). Full email bodies are never stored. Message text is read in memory while we look for items and is discarded immediately afterward. We do not store attachments, contact lists, or any other email metadata.

How your credentials are handled

Google access tokens stay on the server and are never exposed to the browser. They are encrypted at rest and only used to read your inbox and write to your Inbox Radar calendar. If you bring your own Anthropic API key, it is stored encrypted and only ever used on the server to generate item summaries.

How to delete your data

You can disconnect and delete everything at any time from Settings → Disconnect & delete my data. This permanently removes every item, category, candidate, reminder, notification setting, and calendar event that Inbox Radar created, and signs you out. Your Gmail and existing calendars are left untouched.

Changes to this policy
